A member of the Kazdelian intelligence organization Rose Riverside, Entelechia has previously supplied information to Babel. She made contact with Rhodes Island during the Londinium War, and is currently on the landship as a guest. Please note that no formal contract exists between Entelechia and Rhodes Island. All cooperation with her is to be considered private commissions.
The ATK of next attack increases to 175%, attacking twice consecutively
Mastery 3 · SP cost 2 · Initial SP 0Stops attacking and summons blood scythes around this unit and 1 other ground unit to slash at all surrounding enemies, dealing 195% ATK as Physical damage every 0.5s
Mastery 3 · SP cost 20 · Initial SP 15 · Duration 12sAttack Range increases, ATK +135%, ASPD +100, and immediately summons Heart Candles tied to up to 3 ground enemies within range with the highest HP; attacks against the Heart Candles deal at least 35% ATK as damage to them; Heart Candles inherit 60% of the corresponding enemy's current HP, and when attacked, that enemy will lose the same amount of HP as the Heart Candle Heart Candles are only affected by Entelechia's attacks
Mastery 3 · SP cost 30 · Initial SP 22 · Duration 20sAttacks Steal 75 Max HP from the target (Caps at 1350) and deal 250 Arts damage per second to the target for 5s
When HP drops below 25% for the first time, immediately recovers 55% of Max HP and reduces Physical damage taken by 15% from that point onwards
Wasting me on tidying up papers? Hardly the most brilliant of plans. Why squander a pair of capable hands? Pass those charts and tables over, I'll reorganize them for you... And, as I'm already in your seat handling this headache, let's have you rest for a bit, alright?
Little Garnet here is just an elaborate Arts creation. Whether taking lives or saving them, it allows me to shed less blood and do the job with a little less mess. But in the end, it's nothing more than a crystal of blood. Well, aren't you fascinated? Here, you can play with it for a while... Oh dear, why are you pulling away your hand?
I've taken care of those tasks—effortlessly, I might add. No need to thank me. That would give the impression I've exerted myself over such trivial matters. Incidentally, when will that bunny start asking me for help directly, instead of using you as her messenger? Rest assured, I won't scare her like I did before.
The sisters refused my visit again. They still find me... disagreeable. I've never claimed Rose Riverside's Canoes to be a harmonious family. As we can perceive the rhythmic pulse of each other's hearts pumping blood, the trust between us needn't rely on sentiment.
No, no one else is here. I was just chatting with Laqeramaline—or rather, with the incantations woven by the Banshees, reminiscing about the riverside landscapes I've traversed. Who doesn't like to take something precious as a keepsake, to hold in place for a loved one?
Some sisters have never seen this landship with their own eyes. Some imagine it to be an egg woven of countless blood vessels; others see it as a ghost formed from communication data and electrical cables. How do I know their imaginings with such clarity? Good question. How indeed?
I won't tell a soul, so tell me: the one who just entered the office and the one who came in earlier, they have a rather... sensitive connection, don't they? Look at your furrowed brow... I'm not angling for intelligence, I'm genuinely concerned about you. Do be careful not to get caught up in emotional entanglements.
Rejecting the kindness of others is terribly rude, wouldn't you agree? Some people, when they notice changes within themselves, want to break away from the past. But me? I will always remember the most intimate moments I've shared with each of my friends. These memories aren't fabricated, so why would one arbitrarily deny our friendship?
[Classified Log] 'Why are you here, Entelechia?' 'To see an old friend, my dear Ascalon.' 'Sweet-talking me won't change my judgment of you. Rose Riverside failed Babel when it needed you most. Rhodes Island security is now exclusively the domain of S.W.E.E.P. Those still claiming loyalty to Rose Riverside are either fools clinging to the past, or have ulterior motives. Either way, S.W.E.E.P. will be keeping a close eye on you.' 'Oh, I'd hate to be a bother, though. How about this: I'll submit regular reports on my activities to you directly. Deal?' '...No.' [Video log concerning Entelechia, submitted to Ascalon] 'You guys would be perfect, if you didn't keep getting ideas. I go on a two-week trip, and you guys set up this whole 'Rose Riverside Safe House' room over my head? Forget where you even heard of Rose Riverside for now. Do you have any idea what it symbolizes?' The operators getting chewed out by team leader Randy look at each other and wisely keep their mouths shut. 'Of course you don't. You wouldn't even dream of putting up all those pink fluffy flowers if you did, or had any clue who Entelechia is. Did you think this was one of those pulp spy novels? You're not just making fools of yourselves. This is much, much worse.' There is no answer from the operators being reprimanded, but their gazes start to drift towards the ceiling. 'Get all that stuff out of the lounge before morning, you hear me—' Before he can finish his sentence, he feels something cold touch his face, and he realizes that the operators before him had fainted. The last thing he sees before he, too, passes out, is a six-legged monster draped in a blood-red membrane hanging from the ceiling, rubbing his face with a massive scythe. Descending lithely from the ceiling, Entelechia dusts off her skirt, and withdraws the mechanical appendages around her waist. ...... 'Rise and shine, Randy. Now now, it's not like you've seen Rose Riverside's Canoes with your own eyes either. But you were here when we still belonged to Babel, and you know, at the very least, that we were hardly about flowers and tea parties.' The old team leader does not answer. 'But no need to take down the decorations. I rather like them, in fact. I find no offense in the children thinking we would drink tea and watch flowers back in Kazdel. Indeed, I almost wish their childish fantasies were true.' 'Are you sure? They're being quite flamboyant about it. Won't it draw unwanted attention?' 'Not a problem. What keeps the curious at bay is not a prohibition, but stories. In fact, I should be thanking these kids for going to all that effort to come up with a fairy tale for me.'
The woman tore open the Arts barrier that took me three months to decipher with the tip of her finger, as though it were no more than a thin layer of snow. I tried to get up, but found the scythe on my neck, Entelechia's signature weapon. 'Is it a warning or an insult, to deploy such a feeble assassin by the banks of the river where the roses bloom?' 'I'm not an assassin, Entelechia of Rose Riverside.' 'If you're a tourist, the roses here are certainly a worthy sight. But what kind of tourist could bypass the wards at the entrance, find our first safehouse, and knows my name to boot?' 'I was paying no attention to the roses, other than how their thorns made the path difficult. As for your question... it took me nineteen years to find out about your organization, five years to find this place, and three months to neutralize the wards.' 'Half a lifetime of effort for a feeble mixed-blood like you. Why?' 'My foster father's last words were 'Rose Riverside'. When he took me in, he promised me that he'd give me the right to decide my own life, even if the price was his own life. And the answer he left me was 'Rose Riverside'.' 'A touching story, but your information is out of date. Rose Riverside is no more. And what assistance could it be to you, even if it still existed? If I refuse you, you will not be allowed to leave this place alive, given what you know of us. If I accept you, that feeble body of yours will simply dissolve into a pool of blood in the purification process.' 'I know about the dissolution of Rose Riverside.' 'Then why didn't you stop?' 'I didn't want to believe that my father's death had nothing to do with his promise. I didn't want to believe that the promise he repeated over and over ended up being nothing. If this means I have chosen the path of death, then I ask you to deliver me. Purify me.' 'Mm—no. I changed my mind. Rose Riverside is no more, but whoever said it couldn't be reborn? If this is what a vow means to you, then your loyalty is assured, even if you are not a Vampire. There is no one left to tell me what Rose Riverside can and cannot be, after all.' Entelechia withdrew her scythe and extended a hand to me. —The first non-Vampire Canoe of Rose Riverside on the first time she met Entelechia, as she guided a Rhodes Island team towards the safe zone

Enforcer5★ · SpecialistIndeed, my interrogations are truly gentle. As long as enough blood flows, I can thoroughly sift through a heart and excavate all the secrets I wish to know. A pity, though, that you and your blood are simply too precious. Do strive to live on. The day you lie mortally wounded on death's door, I'll be there to see you.
Hmm... Pulse is steady. Not dead, just asleep.
Codename, Entelechia. It's been quite a while, battlefield commander of Rhodes Island—Don't feel bad that you've forgotten me. No one can know every single one of our Canoes.
Can a recording on a machine be more truthful than a memory bubbling from one's heart?
I should 'promote' you too, shouldn't I, as a token of appreciation? Why don't I purify the blood in your body, see if you can become a pure Vampire… Relax, you're not a mixed-blood Sarkaz, and unworthy of a torture you could not endure.
Ah, a medal... Have you thought it through? I'm rather fussy when it comes to gifts and the ones handing them over. The vows between Canoes come first, so I can't do much for Rhodes Island... But if a friend has a personal favor to ask, I don't mind lending a hand at times.
I don't mind escorting this many people at once.
Take care not to let your blood run dry.
Every drop of blood whispers.
I prefer a clean floor, so I'll grant you a death without shedding blood.
Oh, you have an indecisive side too?
If you need to calm down, I can slow your heartbeat for you.
At moments like these, Little Garnet shines most brilliantly.
Don't get me wrong. I don't like the smell of the battlefield.
Gush forth from your heart.
Part ways from your flesh.
Fall back into death.
Oh dear. Don't choke on your own blood, now.
Fine work. I will preserve this moment within my memories.
Can you feel your blood racing? Do you find this scene beautiful? If you're satisfied with the battle's outcome, then I haven't come here for naught.
So long as they bleed, they cannot flee.
Go already. Do not dwell on this mess, nor let it scar you. The aftermath is mine alone to handle.
A familiar sight. As I suspected back then, no one can alter this landship's mechanical design.
Does it feel nice, having your blood run backwards?
I would like to bestow upon you a little gift. Say, an Arts enchantment on your pen nib, the same I use on Little Garnet. How does that sound?
Arknights.
How rare to see everyone in the mood to celebrate a holiday, rather than to mourn someone. It's also rare to see a banquet hall prepare a seat for a Vampire. The sisters of Rose Riverside have spoiled many a banquet before. Whoever said a dinner party isn't the perfect hunting ground for intelligence?
If I were a commander whose life is either the target or concern of many and more, I would learn to tread a little lighter, Doctor.
A new birth is always a bloody affair. Some sisters choose to commemorate the day they killed an archenemy as their birthday; others pick the day their blood was purified and they became pure Vampires. How about you? Since coming to this great land, the blood you've shed and the pain you've endured… how much do you remember?
Farewells are difficult, so we must strive to minimize our partings. This isn't my personal conviction, but it was the reason Rose Riverside rallied behind Theresa, and why I support you now. Very well, present your year-end retrospective. I find solace in hearing memories unfold.
'This familiar plastic smell! These were wings from that batch of drones that got scrapped in Londinium! Who put them on my back? I can't reach them...' 'Why take them off? Those lovely wings suit you perfectly, Closure.' 'A blood crystal... yours? You're giving it to me?' 'Don't be silly, Warfarin. This is your own blood, which you extracted the other day for your experiments.' 'My broken ring! You made it so beautiful...' 'Rings should be beautiful, Amiya.' 'Mon2tr's crystalline structure... Where did you find the materials for this crown?' 'The place of your last rebirth, of course... But that's not the point, is it, Kal'tsit? Turn and let me see you from the side.' Many Rhodes Island operators have suddenly found themselves in possession of unexpected accessories, always accompanied by an admiring Vampire. [Audio Log] Careful about your head, Doctor. We wouldn't want your hair getting caught in it... There you go. Looks good. A shame you're always wearing that hood. But then, the natural choice for an accessory is an adjustable buckle for it. You're asking what materials I used? Take a closer look. It's the empty Sanity Potion ampoules you've been using. There were plenty in the trash bin. A practical joke, you say? Hardly. I wear things like these myself. For example, this 'Little Garnet'. You like it too? It may be the crystallization of filthy blood, but there's nothing ugly about it. Unfortunately, my sisters do not agree. They're tactful enough—or perhaps scared enough—to not ask why I wear it, but cannot hide the abhorrence in their eyes when they see it. The reason is simple. Pure-blood Vampires seek perfection, and those who seek perfection cannot tolerate any flaw. Over and over they admire the pure blood flowing in their veins, but pay no heed to the filthy blood created in the purification process. Hard to understand, isn't it? The perfection that Vampires seek is beyond the comprehension of most. Even I cannot put into words the beauty that is the end of such 'purification' and 'elevation'. Beauty at this level is dependent solely on the subject's own convictions, the single fleck of meaning we found on this gray land. Personally though, I appreciate the desire for meaning more than that perfect conclusion. The beauty lies in the movement. And the only thing that has born witness to that desire is the filthy blood that is filtered and discarded in the purification process. What could be a more perfect accessory than imperfection itself? Ah, yes. Hm? You wish to give a gift in return? But this is not a gift. These accessories are simply a game for me to pass the time. It is not yet time to bestow you an actual gift.
[Classified Log] Don't bother. Rose Riverside left barely any paper trail, preferring to trust their own memories. Did you bring pen and paper? I can tell you a little about Entelechia's past. She was a veteran member of Rose Riverside. Specifically, one of the founders, who did their cleanup work for all the years they existed. She received intel from the returning Canoes, and made sure it went to the right place at the right time. If a Canoe caused a bigger ripple than desired, she would calm the waters. If you make some believe certain stories, and others forget certain truths, then even a murder can be made to have never happened. Whenever a Canoe sank into the river of blood, she was the one to dredge the remains. Recover the body, recover the identity, recover the intelligence. Clean up the evidence, clean up the trail, clean up the witnesses. If possible, she would also eliminate whoever killed one of their own. Entelechia is far more meticulous than any of us can imagine. The proud Canoes of Rose Riverside either left no trail, or Entelechia took care of it. Seven days after Adeline went missing, a woman knocked on my door, blood dripping from her. At first, I was bewildered, unsure whether she was a victim or a murderer, and whether I should bring her inside or slam the door. But she had a familiar scent on her, one that reminded me of Adeline. So I mustered the courage to ask if she was a friend or family of hers, and whether she knew where she went. There was no change in her expression, but I could see her finger touch that massive scythe behind her. I wanted to run, but only then did I realize that I had hardly eaten for the past week, and there was no strength left in my legs. But she did not use her scythe. 'Adeline said you had a good nose. It seems she was right.' She showed a faint smile and handed me a letter with a tiny bottle. 'There was an... accident. This letter records her last words. As for the bottle... you will know from the smell.' I did. I would still recognize it in a thousand years. I wished it was just some cosmetic that she used, or anything that had her scent on it, but I was struck by a terrible thought. I was certain it was her... 'My condolences for your loss.' She closed the door. I never heard any footsteps as she left. I don't remember how long I stood there at the door, or whether I cried at all. My first thought when I came to my senses was that I should find a rag and wipe up the blood she left at the door, before it dried. So I opened it up only to find that the tiles were spotless, not a single speck of blood on them. It was like everything that happened was just a dream. Then, another thought occurred to me: it was time to find something to eat. And life went on. —Interview with a certain Victorian about a former lover. The log was intercepted by Entelechia before making its way into the files of Victorian intelligence. [Classified Log] 'I wrote the letter and used her blood for the ashes. That's all there is to it. I wasn't under the impression that I needed to report something this trivial to you.' 'I told you that you didn't need to wipe away all the traces of the dead, Entelechia, not that you had to manage every relationship she left behind. It was a relationship established as needed for the mission, with someone who had nothing to do with Rose Riverside. He never even knew the true name of his beloved.' 'You needn't worry about me leaving any unnecessary trail. I simply believe that a relationship should be allowed to come to a proper conclusion. Even an outsider deserves an explanation, a final farewell.'
[Audio Log] Would you like to hear a bedtime story, Amiya? There was once a Vampire princess who liked to ask people a question: 'What is a farewell?' The Sanguinarch of the Vampires denied that farewell had meaning. Those who did not walk the path of purification with him were not worth another glance. The Patriarch of the Nachzehrer denied that farewell had meaning. The dead become nutrition for new life, and the cycle of life continues, always a unified whole. The General of Kazdel denied that farewell had meaning. He knew how many partings the path he chose would create. The only farewell he would allow himself is to walk the path to the bitter end, regardless of the cost. Only the King of the Sarkaz did not deny the meaning of farewell. She did not want to interpret parting and mitigate its sorrows, and so she never parted without saying farewell. In that instant, the princess found her answer. Slowly, hesitantly, she turned towards me. She did not ask my thoughts, only probed my veins with threads of blood, bringing out the departed whom I thought I had long forgotten. Family lost to Catastrophe in my childhood, and friends whose remains I had dissolved with my own hands not so long ago. Then she caressed my cheeks with threads of blood, bringing back drops of tears I had forgotten, and asked me to observe their gleam under the sun. The princess said she wanted me to understand farewell, to understand sorrow, and to together bear witness to the realization of Her Highness Theresa's dream. And so I became Rose Riverside's cleaner. I did not know why Her Highness held such beliefs, or why the princess identified with them. But I've become only too familiar with farewells and sorrow, to the point that the blood crystals left behind by my departed sisters ring in my head even when the wind does not blow. The same sorrow rings in your head, too, doesn't it? I can see the changes in you. I can smell your blood, no longer that sweet and sour scent of childhood. That's how people are. It does not always take burdensome deliberation and debate to willingly embark on a path of no return. Sometimes, all it takes is one person, one sentiment, and a little push. Scary, isn't it? We should all be careful of the ties we make with others, shouldn't we? Entelechia rarely talks about herself, and when she does, her secretive nature causes her to instinctively mix leading language into sincere pleas. I strongly suggest approaching her with caution, Amiya. Entelechia never fully commits herself to a cause. Her position depends solely on her promises with others. This makes her absolutely reliable in some ways, and utterly unpredictable in others. Her various vows are complex and intertwining, and there is no way to know where they will lead her. Only Entelechia herself knows the answer. —Kal'tsit Or perhaps not even her. —■■■
