Quick Tour: Urban Landscape
Welcome to Suiming. Call me Lin. I'm a simple records keeper of the Records Hall and I'm pleased to be your tour guide for this Open Day event.
Allow me to introduce the various sights and venues of Suiming City.
The first thing you see upon entering the city is the memorial stele set to commemorate the founding of Suiming. Keep an eye for the list of names provided at the base of the stele. They are the first cohort of workers who took part in the earliest days of the construction. This city only exists thanks to their selfless contributions.
As we continue down the path after the city entrance, we can see the massive Waking Bell. It is the landmark of Suiming. Tianshi Feng, one of the city's urban designers, applied for its construction. Originally intended as an early warning system against the Blight, the Waking Bell is now a unique sight of the city and a perfect place for taking memorable photos.
From the Central Plaza where the Waking Bell is located, we can either head to the Tianshi Pillar Project Records Hall, the Tianshi Pillar Applications & Material Engineering Research Labs (TPA-MERL), or the Youth Physical Training Field.
The Tianshi Pillar Project Records Hall is where I usually work. The facility not only houses plenty of Tianshi Pillar research data and Blight observation logs, but it is also a trove of information on the various ecosystems around Suiming. Everyone is more than welcome to request photocopies to satisfy their curiosities.
As for the TPA-MERL, its opening hours are extremely short and subject to regular rescheduling. I recommend visiting the place only after we recommend a suitable date and time.
Finally, the Youth Physical Training Field is where many young Tianshi disciples spend their time. The recent fad of athletic training seems to be a form of kicking exercises involving Globular Originium Slugs... Perhaps some of you might be interested in slug-kicking.
However, we must remind you that the Training Field is rather close to the extremely hazardous Underground Blight Monitoring Zone. You are advised to stay close to your tour guide. Do not attempt to explore these areas on your own...
