NOTE: The introduction of the new mining drills led to a temporary spike in productivity. However, this is quickly followed by frequent breakdowns of the new drills. An investigation revealed that supporting crew mates from other regions decided to save time acquiring coolants by filling up the radiator with recycled sprinkling water from dust control. A number of crew mates also dumped seasoning and crudely deshelled Originium slugs (often found near the Quarry) into the radiator tank for cooking. Such actions led to reduced cooling performance of the mining drills. SPECIAL NOTE: The Aburrey Quarry has enacted a rule forbidding crew mates from bringing food into the Quarry Site. Also, the coolant reservoir has been moved from the Stockpile Area to the Staff Lounge.
