Feranmut

Feranmuts are gargantuan creatures indigenous to the planet Terra.

Known Feranmuts measure anywhere from several hundred to several hundred thousand meters in size. Their presence alone could alter natural laws, transform planetary environments, and even give birth to new forms of life. Additionally, every known Feranmut wields unique powers that far surpass modern bases of Originium Arts Theory. One of the most commonly known Feranmut powers is the ability to create "proxies". These "proxies", while serving as a manifestation of Feranmut power, resemble Terran humans and serve as a channel by which Feranmuts communicate with Terran Civilization. In fact, many "proxies" have traveled across the Land for centuries without any humans detecting their true nature.

The Terran nation of Yan, from which Hongshan Academy of Sciences (HAS) hails, has performed the most extensive "Feranmut" studies and even fought a war against Feranmuts in its history. To this day, HAS remains the "expert regarding Feranmuts" in the Civilization Band. Armed with its strength in Feranmut studies, HAS maintains a cautious yet stable relationship with the Feranmut Proxy while it channels Feranmut powers into technological research and development. The novel Originium material known as "Xiranite" is a key result of this effort.
