Yinglung Special Task Force

Yinglung Special Task Force (YSTF) is an elite combat unit serving under Hongshan Academy of Sciences (HAS). The unit is responsible for carrying out the highest levels of special combat operations.

The founding of YSTF is compliant with the general principle provided in the Band Accord, where all Accord signatories are given the right to establish and maintain a military force for defending the entirety of the Civilization Band. In Talosian Calendar Year 23, a senior Candleholder under the Sui Regulator of Yan selected and trained the first cohort of YSTF members (colloquially referred to as Yinglungs) from among Yanese veterans of the First Aggeloi War. HAS generously provided the Yinglungs with advanced Yanese technologies that survived the war. Yinglungs are equipped with Feranmut artifacts and gear modified by the Tianshi, allowing them to wield varying degrees of Feranmut power. They are also one of the very few special forces capable of carrying out extended operations in environments severely affected by the Blight.

An Yinglung squad is currently garrisoned at the Wuling Scientific Developmental District for long-term combat operations. These Yinglungs have established multiple sentry bases throughout Wuling. Their primary objectives include: conducting regular deep forays into the North Wuling Exclusion Zone for forward monitoring; deploying Xiranite devices to contain Blight activities; and neutralizing major threats to the security of Wuling City.
