Feranmut Sui

The Feranmut Sui (or simply as "Sui") is the last Feranmut to be defeated and sealed during the "Great Hunt" of Yan.

In the legends of Yan, a True Lung once mobilized the powers of an entire nation and personally led talented scholars and powerful warriors in the "Great Hunt" that decimated the once godlike Feranmuts. During this war, a powerful Feranmut named Sui betrayed its own kin and assisted the Yanese nation in this war of subjugation. After paying a steep price, the Yanese people finally defeated all Feranmuts, including Sui itself, and achieved the great feat known as the "Ennoblement of the Gods". This event also marked the turning point at which the fate of the Yanese nation was returned to the hands of the mortals.

Meanwhile, we also know clearly that the "Great Hunt" that actually took place in history may differ from the details embellished by the myths. However, all matters associated with Sui are treated as top secrets of the Yanese state. Many researchers have spent entire lifetimes in pursuit of the truth but never came close. Nevertheless, information provided by the Hongshan Academy of Sciences (HAS) and the archives of Rhodes Island indicates that the twelve proxies of Sui once walked upon the Land of Terra.

As of today, HAS remains extremely prudent on issues related to Feranmuts, though it has also achieved a close partnership with the thirteenth proxy of Sui. Both have worked together to improve crucial devices known as the Feranmut Hearts. Such devices are considered among the pinnacle of technological applications stemming from the HAS discipline of Feranmut studies, the technical origins of which can be traced back to the Age of Terra. Deep integration with Protocol-Originium technology eventually led to the current iteration. The interiors of the Marker Stone are furnished with multiple Feranmut Hearts working together, forming the foundation of the installation seen today.
