Summary of Findings: Yinglung War Cases
Endministrator, all current data has been compiled. We can safely assume that the Yinglung Special Task Force (YSTF) Team led by Shore actually found the sword thrown by Alleikhreos two years ago. However, the said sword triggered the spread of Blight Miasma and trapped two YSTF teams deep within the exclusion zone (EZ). They failed to confirm the actual nature of the entity at the marked coordinates. Their only recourse was to contact the three other YSTF teams to return with the data.
The appearance of Blightshades and Blight Miasma suddenly severed their exit route. Shore then decided to turn around and head further into the EZ with Team Stern and plant all the Yinglung Pillars they carried with them. A landslide occurred shortly after Shore discovered the sword. Having witnessed it fall deeper into the gorge, Shore decided to track it on her own, record the relevant data, and approximate the location of the sword.
Of the teams charged with escorting the coordinates, only one managed to reach the site near the Designated Urban Area. However, this team also failed to exit the EZ following a Blightshade ambush. The coordinates were later recovered by another YSTF team assigned to a separate operation. Nevertheless, YSTF suspended additional surveillance operations due to the significant casualties suffered. The landslide also rendered follow-up surveillance of the recovered coordinates meaningless.
If they had made it out alive, our investigations into the truth of the EZ incident could have restarted two years ago... Nevertheless, the brave and selfless actions of the Yinglungs have helped us breach the Blight Miasma.
They deserve our deepest and most sincere respect.
