Letter: For the Lady (A Draft)
My Lady, I apologize for departing without saying goodbye.
I have thoroughly read through the book you gave me. I greatly appreciate the gift, for it helped me answer the question that has long goaded my heart.
I can finally make sense of the idea pulsing wildly within me. It is just my powerful yearning for "exploring the world".
You drew me with an anthology filled with the achievements and tales of an explorer. Your intent was to make me a tour guide of this realm while you traveled outside the painting.
But for so many years, the hearts and minds of so many explorers built up within me. They have long ignited my soul.
I must confess, milady. Ever since my birth, I have longed to roam free, and my mind has not changed, even to this day.
