The hornbeasts from the south don't taste as good. Meat is too lean for roast. Good enough for stew, though.
The merchant who fell off the cliff gave me excellent herbal spices perfect for marinating long-ear fillets. I still feel very warm after the meal.

The long-leafed herbs growing at the bottom of the valley are good for hornbeast stew. When sending the next fowl post north, make the beast take some of the herbs along.
