Let's set aside the disastrous scenes wrought by the Catastrophes described in the literature that our ancestors wrote. Instead, we should solely focus on the "cluster growths" caused by the Catastrophes.

Active Originium clouds artificially created in cultivation shafts outside the Research Center are far smaller than their natural-occurring Terran counterparts. However, they still managed to reach our expectations for growth rates for future crystal cluster cultivation phases.
