New Meeting Recap (51)
We now have 2 design proposals for the Blight scanning platform prototype:
PROPOSAL 1: Load the scanner on a heavy platform on par with a nomadic city plate, and start scanning and clearing out Blight zones one region at a time.
PROPOSAL 2: Miniaturize the scanner and mount it on a wheeled mobility chassis.
If it's the latter, a single field team would be enough to carry out missions deep inside the Blight zone. Yvonne's idea is solid, but I have a few concerns: miniaturization would mean sacrificing a number of functions, leaving the rest to be handled manually. Also, shrinking the prototype down to fit a wheeled platform won't be easy. I'm worried the objective might be overly ambitious and hard to pull off.
PS: But Yvonne drew up the blueprints anyway. See the attached files. PLEASE DON'T LOSE THEM!
