Wuling

The Wuling region serves as a focal area of Hongshan Academy of Sciences (HAS) for its Blight control initiatives. The Wuling Scientific Developmental District has been established in this region.

The Tianshi of the Hongshan Academy of Sciences (HAS) — scholars who mastered the Originium Arts and carry on the Yanese traditions of research and learning — are determined to change the fate of this land.

Following the First Aggeloi War, the massive Blight rift in the Wuling region (Wuling Very Large Rift) became one of the Civilization Band's most pressing challenges. This deep geological rupture spans the entire territory, representing the largest documented Æther rift within known Band boundaries. Blight spreading from the rift's epicenter has caused severe environmental degradation, transforming natural water systems into liquid Blight. The contamination zone continues expanding outward, demonstrating persistent territorial advancement over time.

In Talosian Calendar, Year 132, a research delegation from HAS was stationed in the Wuling region to develop Xiranite materials for environmental restoration. After two decades of research and construction, achieved through tremendous sacrifice, the Tianshi Pillar Array enabled dynamic containment of Blight Tides within limited geographical boundaries. While HAS has accomplished remarkable achievements in the Wuling region from the Civilization Band's perspective, the complete remediation of this fractured landscape remains a distant goal.
