Aburrey the Hero

Aburrey was an educator who heroically sacrificed herself protecting students during the Aggeloi assault on Valley IV in Talosian Calendar, Year 75.

In Talosian Calendar, Year 75, numerous Ankhor points descended upon the outskirts of Valley IV stretching defensive forces thin. A small Aggeloi contingent breached the perimeter near a school facility. Aburrey successfully evacuated her students, but the entities pursued relentlessly. As the retreat reached the under-construction pass near what is now the quarry entrance, Aburrey scaled the heights to gain tactical advantage. Utilizing explosives from the construction site, she triggered a calculated rockslide that halted the Aggeloi advance. Her actions safeguarded both the quarry and her students, though she perished in the detonation that secured their escape.

In her honor, the UWST designated the nearly completed quarry as "Aburrey Quarry". Operations were later suspended when excavations uncovered a mysterious substance. The metallic structure, far exceeding humanity's current technological understanding, was subsequently named the "Stone of Aburrey".
